2019 was a year of immense growth for us. We focused on accelerating the construction of the BOLT ecosystem by launching our two core products, BOLT+ and Pegasus, partnering with companies that help advance the BOLT brand to new markets, and fostering an international community of supporters. Before we proceed to outline what we’ve built in 2019, here are the results of BOLT’s business performance in Q4 2019.

- BOLT launched BOLT+ and Pegasus in both Android and iOS stores.
- BOLT was listed on multiple exchanges: Switcheo, Bitmax, KuCoin and Binance DEX

- BOLT+ covered 10 high-octane sporting events: the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup, AFCON, Copa America, FIFA Women’s World Cup, The Ashes (Cricket), the English Premier League, La Liga, the 2019 Rugby World Cup, UEFA Champions League and the Bangladesh Premier League (Cricket).
- BOLT+ added new live TV channels and introduced live Radio channels, and now boasts over 100 live TV channels and live Radio channels in its arsenal.
- BOLT welcomed onboard new team members to the BOLT family, including a brand new developer and sales team.
- BOLT was featured on renowned international media platforms like CNN, BBC, CNBC and Sky News.
- Achieved the milestone of having more than 100 BOLT community members in possession of more than 1,000,000 BOLT tokens at one point.
- To thank the community for their support, BOLT burned 19.7 million BOLT tokens in 2019.
- BOLT launched the Debut, Gemini and Vault newsletters and sent over 44 newsletters to nearly 20,000 unique subscribers.
- BOLT hosted 7 live AMAs in 2019, including a first in-person AMA over Zoom to boost communications and transparency with the community.
- BOLT moved into new offices in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.

⚡Building the BOLT ecosystem ⚡
In 2019, we went full steam ahead in achieving our new vision of an inclusive economy, powered by the world’s stories. We launched the BOLT+ and Pegasus apps, our two core products that serve as cornerstones of the BOLT ecosystem.
With BOLT+, an interactive media platform focused on sports and education, users could watch, stream, listen and engage with their favourite content. They could choose from a wide array of premium content and high octane sports events like the English Premier League, Cricket World Cup and Rugby World Cup, and stream over 100 live TV and radio channels. We also debuted BOLT+ original content, including 3D replays of football and cricket matches and match predictions, as well as match roundups.
With Pegasus, they could store, send and receive BOLT tokens seamlessly and eventually convert them into items of monetary value. Our products are available on the web, as well as iOS and Android stores, opening up access to users worldwide.

⚡Entering new frontiers⚡
BOLT transcended geographical boundaries by partnering with synergistic companies like Hisense, Helo and Vodi. Through content, marketing and hardware partnerships, BOLT+ content amassed 141 million impressions from users based in South America to South Asia!
More importantly, we formed a strategic partnership with Hisense, spanning hardware, marketing and leadership collaboration. This partnership introduced BOLT+ to the South Africa market via its pre-installation into 15,000 Hisense mobile phones. Since the start of our collaboration, South Africans have grown to become our third largest BOLT+ user community!
⚡Listing on multiple exchanges and fostering a vibrant community ⚡
In 2019, we officially listed the BOLT token on Switcheo, Bitmax, KuCoin and Binance DEX for trading. We have also run multiple campaigns with platforms like Bitmax (BitTreasure), Switcheo Chest (HODL campaign) and TrustWallet to reward holders of the BOLT token. The BOLT token is available for trading across multiple trading pairs, such as BOLT/BTC, BOLT/ETH, BOLT/USDT, BOLT/BNB and BOLT/BTCB. We also finalised a smart contract system on Zilliqa to enable payment for user-created content on BOLT+ in the future.
BOLT has also garnered supporters from around the world, counting fans from Turkey to Japan. We now have close to 2,400 holders of the BOLT token, who have amassed over 240,000 transactions in the last year. The BOLT token is amongst the Top 20 most discussed new coins in Twitter year to date.

The BOLT brand also travelled widely and was well-represented at major conferences and covered by renowned media outlets such as CNN, BBC, CNBC, Forbes and Sky News!
⚡What lies ahead — Our Mission, Vision, and Goals for 2020⚡
2020 is an important year of growth for BOLT as we #surge towards our vision of creating an inclusive economy, powered by the world’s stories.
We start the quarter with the launch of two new utility cases for the BOLT token to drive larger user adoption through gamification and blockchain invisibility.
We also want to increase our BOLT+ and Pegasus offerings to accomplish our goal of rewarding BOLT+ users for media consumption on the BOLT+ app — with original and engaging productions for BOLT+ and the integration of a reward system into Pegasus in the pipeline.
BOLT+ will also advance to new platforms and frontiers, through our partnership with Hisense, whitelabelling of the BOLT+ platform and growth of our communities. We will be expanding BOLT to emerging markets like the Middle East and North Africa.
Finally, we are looking to better reward our investors and supporters with the launch of a loyalty programme and more AMA opportunities.
